Description

This collection consists of photographs collected by Ada E. Leeke (1914-1988) and published in When Americans Came to Korea by Ada E. Leeke with Evelyn Shaw (Freeman, S.D.: Pine Hill Press, 1991). This book was privately printed in an edition of five hundred for distribution to libraries and other selected recipients.

Prints of the photographs and a copy of the book manuscript were presented to the Center for Korean Studies by Evelyn H. Shaw in 1990.
